Respite & Flexible Care

A genuine break for family carers — with the person you care for properly looked after, not just supervised.

  • Overnight & sleepover support
  • Planned or emergency
  • Handover notes every time

A break only works if you can actually switch off

Carers don't stop worrying just because someone else is in the house. So respite has to be handled well enough that you can leave without checking your phone every twenty minutes — which means the worker arrives already knowing the routine, the medications, the warning signs and what to do about them.

We take a full handover before the first booking and keep it on file, so a Tuesday afternoon off or a fortnight away both start from the same solid base. You get written notes on what happened while you were gone.

This is usually the right fit if

  • You're a family carer who hasn't had a proper break in a long time
  • You need cover for work, appointments, a holiday or a hospital stay of your own
  • The person you care for needs overnight or waking-night support
  • You want a trusted arrangement in place before an emergency forces one

Carer burnout is the most common reason a home arrangement ends. Respite booked early is what stops it getting to that point.

Getting started

How we set this up with you

  1. 1

    Full handover

We sit down with the carer and record the routine, medications, triggers and escalation steps.

  2. 2

    Meet before the day

The worker meets the person they'll be supporting before the first respite booking.

  3. 3

    Book the break

Regular hours, a block of days, or an on-file arrangement ready for emergencies.

  4. 4

    Notes on return

You come back to a written account of how it went, not a guessing game.
